Our mission at Belterra is to empower you to feel luxurious in your everyday life, embracing the beauty that surrounds you. We believe that luxury is not just a special occasion, but a way to elevate your daily moments.
We aspire to the Latin American way of living and sharing, where beautiful people, landscapes, food, and sometimes gemstones, shape your emotions. We want YOU to feel beautiful with our fine jewelry, while offering transparency about sourcing and creation process.
What's the connection between Paris and Latin America, you ask? Our founder lived in Paris for several years and, as her brother likes to remind her, “The Tropical Paris” is the nickname of the South American city where she was born. This is where it all started.
Belterra’s founder, Mariluce, was born in Brazil and raised in South, Central, and North America. Her passion for jewelry was ignited early on, and she began her jewelry journey in 2011. Even while working as a schoolteacher, Mariluce's love for jewelry persisted, with frequent visits to jewelry shows in Paris.
Mariluce's multicultural background is reflected in the art and soul of Belterra's creations. From rings to earrings, necklaces, and bracelets, every piece embodies the vibrant spirit of exploration and global inspiration. Belterra brings the world to you, infusing every design with the essence of a world traveler
Why Paname?
Paname is one of the many nicknames of Paris. Our founder loved wandering around the city. The idea of creating an authentic piece of Paris to take everywhere with her was important. She knew she wanted to do something that would show all of the arrondissements (districts) of Paris. The idea came while looking at a map of Paris. After having come up with a few different concepts for the map. She decided that a signet ring would be the way to go. She also chose a pear shaped diamond because it fit perfectly around the idea that Paris looks like a snail. Some of the seine is hidden under the diamond.
Can you find your favorite monument?
The Paname Signature ring by Belterra is an original creation, a tribute to the ‘snail shell’ shape of Paris, a spiral pattern adopted when the city increased its number of districts known as 'arrondissements' from 12 to 20.
The pyramid of the Louvre, object of many interpretations as to what it symbolizes, is located in the heart of the city.
In the same way, the stone you choose will be at the center of your jewel: Your secret stone, your secret story.
Wearing sparkles while feeling good and doing good is one of our core beliefs. Belterra commits to donate 5% of each sale to a charity organization focused on giving each child the opportunity to thrive.
